The origin of the Department of English of YSR Vivekananda Government Degree college, Vempallicoincides with the establishment of the college in June 2020. It primarily offers the course of GeneralEnglish to all the disciplines ranging from B.A.(Bachelor of Arts), B.sc.(Bachelor of sciences) andB.com(Bachelor of commerce)(Computer Applications) throughout the first three semesters. TheEnglish department of the college also stands as an exclusive academic entity under the purview ofYogi Vemana University providing the course of Special English as a core subject for the group of HPS(History, Political science, Special English). The department boasts well qualified faculty with ampleprofessionalexperienceandcommendableteachingskills.
