Statistics

Welcome to the Department of STATISTICS, one of the departments at the time of establishment of college. Our journey started in 2020, the year the Institute came into existence with guest faculty and later in 2021, two Doctorates recruited by Commissionerate of College Education (CCE). Department takes immense pride in the teaching and research culture of the department which is guided by scientific temper as well as an aspiration for creative autonomy in thought and action. Department equally privileged to have a group of young and highly motivated students who believe that their reach should exceed their grasp and define the spirit of the department.  In the month of January, 2022 one faculty transferred.

Since then our chronicles of growth stand as a testimony to our proactive engagement with the changing needs of education in Statistics.

The Department offers a three-year B.Sc. course with Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science combination.
